We love rust! We never quite know how it will react with humidity, temperature, sun, amount of water, or a half dozen other intangible factors. One of our favorite techniques involves painting our pieces, then sanding them and leaving them outside to “naturally age”. They unfold as objects with a story; like something you might find buried under a pile of stuff on your grandparents farm.
